The Elevation TSK-1819A espresso machine is the same unit also made as the Eupa, the Dualit Espressivo, or the Cuisinart EM-100. It warms up in a 2 minute warm up time before you pull a shot. The machine provides automatic pre-infusion, a heated group head, and an auto hot water purge after steaming. A proper steam wand and a solid group handle are part of the build, along with a spring held basket and a large cup warming space for keeping cups ready. In a first trial the machine was used with a useless tamp, which was followed by a very quick shot that produced 60ml in 20 seconds. The result had huge, pressure basket induced, crema, so although it looked OK, it did not taste great, but not as bad as you might think. To improve the shot, a finer grind or a harder tamp is needed.
