Product Detailed Description
Caribbean Sun Box Blue Light SAD Therapy Sunbox features blue light as an excellent alternative for people who are too sensitive for the standard 10,000 LUX white light. The device uses only 9 watts of power. Blue light also has a special ability to reset the biological clock. This light is far more effective than full-spectrum sunlight boxes. The unit filters 100% of the UV rays.
- All of the Caribbean Sun Boxes work on all voltages world-wide with no voltage adapter needed.
- The Caribbean Sun Box is a highly effective new light box that uses blue LED lamps to treat the symptoms associated with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
- Research has proven that the specific blue wavelength that is emitted from this box is the portion of the spectrum that is the most effective in treating SAD.
- By using LED TMs, we reduce the units size and weight to just 5 x 9 x 1 and 1 ½ lbs.
- It easily fits on a desk, table, or countertop and is equipped with a folding stand, UV shield, on/off switch and a 6 ft. cord.
- Studies by Mariana Figueiro, assistant professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Lighting Research Center, and others indicate "blue light boxes" are far more effective than full-spectrum sunlight boxes of equal intensity at fighting seasonal affective disorder, commonly known as winter blues.
- Studies at Harvard Medical School in Boston and the Lighting Research Center also indicate that a dose of blue light, depending on when it is given can increase alertness or help fight insomnia.
- In particular, Figueiro's studies show that exposure to blue light in the evening makes Alzheimer's patients more likely to sleep through the night.
- The Caribbean Sun Box Blue comes with a 30 day unconditional money back guarantee plus a 10 year product warrantee.
- If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return the Caribbean Sun Box for a full refund.
- If you decide to keep it, you are covered for all defects, including burned out LED's, for 10 years.
